First there is the time spent creating your photograph. Hourly rates for studio photography begin at $50 per hour.  A fee of $100 is charged for the first hour of location photography. Each additional hour is $50.

Second, after the image is created, time in the “Digital Darkroom” guarantees the best possible image. This time spent with PhotoShop may be as minor as adjusting for print output and burning a CD; or as major as restoring surface damage on a prototype.

Last, there is a Usage Fee. The Usage Fee grants you the license to use the images created. Factors that affect the Usage Fee include where and how often the image is used, from packaging to business card to a billboard.
