What do I need to do to look my best? First of all - relax! There is no substitute for getting good rest and drinking a lot of water in the days before your session. Try not to schedule your session after a long day at school or work. |
Remember it’s all about you! When we talk, we’ll ask some questions about your own personal style. Then we’ll suggest some outfits you should be able to come up with. We want you to be the focus not your outfits. |

What kind of variety will I have? It’s up to you. Usually we want 2 -3 outfits for boys and 3 or more outfits for girls. That would include; as dressed up as you ever get (think: prom, date, church), casual but dressy ( shirt with a collar, a nice sweater), casual ( blue jeans and ??). |

What else should I know? Dark solid earth tones like gray, brown, blue, burgundy and black always look good in classic color and black and white portraits. A favorite pair of blue jeans and a white shirt is timeless and girls always like some flirty poses in pastel tops. |

Anything I should avoid? Yes! Any shirts with logos and names (other than letter jackets) they will look dated very soon. Not only that, it draws the views eye away from where it should be focused, on you . Also stay away from any busy stripes or patterns and the color green, it will throw a color cast that can make you look seasick! |

What about makeup and hair! Dressed up is one thing, made-over is something else. People like you the way they know you. We DO NOT recommend anything radical for your Senior Session although we may have fun with few “Glam” shots if you want. Boys can get a haircut 3 - 5 days before your session, not the day before. |

I still need some guidance! That shouldn’t be a problem! Just bring a number of the outfits we’ll talk over and we’ll pick the pieces that work best when you come for your Senior Session . |
